Welcome to Baby Ranger Books!
I have been eager to welcome you for some time now! There is a lot of work to be done when writing engaging children’s books that explore National Parks. I strive for the information in these books to be 100% factual, research is fun, but takes time!Drawing each and every aspect of the books also takes time. Each book also tends to go through several design layouts before the right one sticks. There was also time that was dedicated to the creation of Baby Ranger! Still very similar to the original sketch…but defiantly jumped up on the scale of cuteness and personality! (In my opinion at least…)
Here is a little glimpse at the early stages. Wow! I am thankful that everything changed with time…these are almost embarrassing. The books now have continuity cover to cover; from the Everglades to Kobuk Valley—> Channel Islands to Acadia and everything in-between!
Over the course of the next year, Baby Ranger Books will be launching 3 books for each of the Top 10 Most Visited National Parks. You can expect a book on the ABC’s, 123’s and a surprise 3rd book for each park! Maybe you’ll learn COLORS, or SIZES….maybe even play a game of PEEK-A-BOO?
