The day has arrived, and I am SO EXCITED!!!
As you can see, I’m releasing not ONE, not TWO… but THREE Baby Ranger Books!
The Great Smoky Mountains hold a special place in my heart… so it was an easy book set to launch first. I have many memories of family vacations, wonderful waterfall hikes, waiting for that picture perfect Smoky Mountain sunset, nearly freezing on Clingman’s Dome waiting for the stars to come out……ah, yes, it’s like a home away from home!
Not only does Great Smoky Mountain National Park have a special place in my heart… it is also THE MOST VISITED NATIONAL PARK! I did the research… I searched deep in the records… and its been a long time runner as #1…. like a LONG TIME!
Did you know that nearly 12 MILLION people visit the Smokies each year? That is a lot of people!
Families make it a vacation destination, the Appalachian Trail passes through the Smokies, there are lookouts and viewpoints for people of all ages. There are hikes less than a half mile, backpackers can hike in the backcountry for weeks on end exploring the trails less traveled. There is something for people of all ages and all capabilities at Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Er… I mean… for the longest time there has almost been something for everyone…..
